Campus Emporium charges 5.3% sales tax on all orders shipped within Virginia, which is calculated based on our location in accordance with 2017 tax law. Virginia sales tax also applies to orders picked up in the store.
Orders received before 3:00pm EST Monday-Friday (including "In-Store Pickup") are usually processed the same day. Orders received after this time or during a high-volume period will be processed the next business day.
Campus Emporium ships via the United States Postal Service (USPS) and the United Parcel Service (UPS). You will receive a tracking number for any completed order to allow you to track your package on its way to you. Please note that USPS does not run on Sundays or National Holidays, and UPS does not run on weekends or corporate holidays, even if 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air is selected.
We can ship orders to Hawaii and Alaska. Shipping to Hawaii or Alaska does not qualify for promotional shipping rates.
We can ship orders to APO or FPS boxes. These orders are shipped via United States Postal Service, but may not be trackable. Shipping to APO or FPS boxes does not qualify for promotional shipping rates.
Campus Emporium cannot be held responsible for missing packages shipped by the USPS and marked as "Delivered" confirmed by GPS tracking. If a package has been marked as "Delivered" and cannot be located, we recommend that you contact your local postmaster to report a missing or stolen package.
If you are unable to locate a package delivered by UPS, please contact us as soon as possible so that we may file a claim with UPS. Claims with UPS take up to 8 business days to conclude. If UPS is unable to verify the location of the package following their investigation, we will ship you a replacement package free of charge (pending availability of the missing items). Any items unable to be replaced will be refunded in full.
If a package is unable to be delivered due to an incomplete or incorrect address entered by the customer, the customer may be charged a $18 redirect fee, as Campus Emporium is charged this amount (or more) by our shipping carriers for such errors. Please check your address before and after submitting your order. Call us immediately to make any necessary corrections.
If the item(s) you have selected are out of stock or if more information is needed to process your order, you will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org and a phone call. Please be sure that you have provided a current email address that you check regularly. Orders are subject to delay until we receive any needed information.
Average UPS Ground Transit Times from Campus Emporium
The below chart shows average transit times (in business days) for UPS ground shipping speed. Please note that UPS does not operate on weekends, even for 2nd or Next Day Air. Orders received before 3:00pm EST are generally shipped the same day but may take up to two business days to process. Drop ship, made-to-order, or backordered items may have increased transit times.
Online orders can be picked up in our Downtown store (207 North Main) -- and it's free! Simply check the box labeled "Do not ship my order" on the cart page of the website. This box will allow you to select In-Store Pickup as your shipping option. You may enter 207 North Main Street, Blacksburg, VA 24060 as your shipping address during checkout.
Orders received before 3:00pm EST Monday-Friday will typically be ready for pickup the next day. You will receive an email when your order is ready. All in-store pickup orders are subject to Virginia state sales tax.
Excluding APO/FPO, we do not ship outside the United States.
$75 Free Shipping Promotion
Orders containing merchandise whose subtotal (before tax) is $75.00 or greater qualify for free shipping to the 48 contiguous states. Online gift certificates do not qualify as merchandise for this promotion. We will choose the method of shipment for your package, which may take longer to arrive than if a different service is selected. Return shipping remains the customer's responsibility, as with all shipping services we offer.
As a small business, we strive to ensure that all information on our website and in our stores is accurate and up-to-date. However, we are only human, and sometimes errors creep through. We reserve the right to correct pricing mistakes on items or services, including shipping costs. If such a correction is necessary, we will contact you via e-mail or phone call to discuss your options, which may be limited to an order cancellation and full refund.
We currently accept the following forms of payment: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and Campus Emporium Online Gift Cards. We will not process orders using an non-US credit card. We do not accept Hokie Passport at this time.
